Cabinet: The cabinet features a dual-layer construction, with a High Density Board substrate and solid timber adhered on top, providing the benefits of enhanced rigidity and acoustic performance. Inside, proprietary IAP dual-panel technology and asymmetrical bracing further reduce vibrations and distortion, ensuring tight bass and clear, dynamic sound signature.

Tweeter: The silk dome tweeter combines a large surround for increased output with reduced distortion, while dual copper caps and neodymium magnets boost efficiency and minimize phase shift. The silk diaphragm enriches the sound with warmth, offering a smooth, traditional tonal profile paired with exceptional clarity.

Front: The Tempest speaker features a striking hammer-tone front baffle, inspired by the classic PA speakers from the live entertainment industry. This design not only evokes a sense of power and presence but also enhances durability, adding a rugged, yet refined touch to the speaker's overall look.

Woofer: The 7½” long throw woofer brings vintage warmth to the sound, while the thin rubber surround and powerful motor system enhance detail and dynamics. Made with Egyptian Papyrus™ fibers, it delivers deep, full bass and smooth mids, offering a refined, clear sound that balances classic character with modern performance.

Woofer - Egyptian Papyrus™

The very heart of the Tempest's prowess resides in its remarkable 7.5-inch high-strength woofer, a testament to engineering excellence. Straddling the line between compact and expansive, this woofer effortlessly delivers deep bass while ensuring wide dispersion for a truly encompassing soundstage.

At the core of this exceptional woofer lies the high-force factor motor, meticulously crafted from pure copper and a high-purity neodymium alloy. This blend results in realistic dynamics that this transducer is celebrated for.

The spirit of innovation continues through to the material selection process, exemplified by the choice of Egyptian Papyrus™ as the diaphragm material. Renowned for its ability to imbue lush midrange characteristics.

Tweeter - Silk Dome

The silk dome tweeter is the essential component in achieving this level of audio excellence, producing high-frequency sounds with exceptional clarity and precision. It boasts a large surround dome, dual balanced compression chamber, and dual copper caps, all designed to enhance the realism and depth of the sound.

The high strength neodymium motor system with a non-reflective cast aluminum chamber is another feature that helps minimize distortion and improve dynamics. The shallow flow magnet structure optimizes coupling to the rear chamber, while the CCAW voice coil provides fast transient response while minimizing the moving mass.
