Dual Radiators: Dual passive radiators extend low-frequency response while avoiding port noise.

Waveguide: A shallow waveguide provides controlled dispersion and supports lower crossover frequencies.

Cabinet: Dual-layer construction with internal bracing to reduce resonance.

Tweeter: Beryllium dome tweeter with neodymium motor for stable high-frequency response.

Woofer: 6.5-inch Purifi driver designed for low distortion and accurate midrange.

Smooth surfaces, extended bass output.

A sleek, modern speaker that delivers exceptional clarity and powerful bass, all in a compact cabinet.

The Alto uses two passive radiators instead of traditional speaker ports, giving you deep, powerful bass without the buzzing or distortion that ports can cause. You get rich, room-filling low-end that rivals a subwoofer — no separate sub needed.

Make it yours.

Each pair of Alto's can be personalized to reflect your personal style and aesthetic. With a variety of custom timber finishes and paints available, each speaker can be tailored to complement your space, whether you prefer a sleek modern look or a more classic, timeless design.

The SK96 horn is designed to maintain wide, even dispersion across the listening area. Its geometry is based on an oblate spheroidal expansion, refined to keep off-axis response smooth and predictable. This allows the system to maintain tonal balance and clarity beyond a single listening position.

SK96 HORN

Modern Audio Speaker

The Tufnel is designed to operate as a true full-range loudspeaker in open, architectural environments. High efficiency, controlled dispersion, and cabinet volume allow consistent sound across the room, rather than a single listening position.

A Full-Range System for Larger Spaces

Pricing starts at $20,300 AUD per pair. Production time is 8-12 weeks depending on finish. Each system is built to order. For commissioning enquiries, please submit your details and we will respond personally. Custom finishes and detailing are available to suit the character of the space. DESIGN INTENT

In the 1960s and 70s, speakers were physically large and designed to move air easily. They produced sound with scale and dynamics that smaller systems struggle to reproduce.

Tufnel set out to bring that sense of scale back into a modern loudspeaker. At the same time, it retains the precision expected from contemporary hi-fi.

The result sits between two worlds:

The energy of a club system, and the refinement of a high-fidelity setup.

A FULL-RANGE SYSTEM FOR LARGER SPACES

The Tufnel is designed to operate as a true full-range loudspeaker in open, architectural environments.

High efficiency, controlled dispersion, and cabinet volume allow consistent sound across the room, rather than a single listening position.

DESIGN & MATERIALS

The cabinet is built as a rigid, structural enclosure rather than a lightweight shell.

Solid timber and leather are selected for acoustic performance, durability, and how they wear over time.

Each system is finished by hand, with materials chosen to suit the space it will live in.

15" Low-Frequency Driver

A 15-inch driver provides high displacement with low distortion.

The larger radiating area allows the system to produce bass with weight and headroom, even at lower listening levels.

AVAILABLE  CONFIGURATIONS

Tufnel is available in both active and passive configurations.

Passive
Designed for use with external amplification, including low-powered tube systems.

Active
Integrated amplification and DSP provide crossover control, time alignment, and system protection.

BESPOKE FINISHES

Each system is built to order with selected timbers, leathers, and custom finishes.
Materials are chosen in response to the space.

Integrated Electronics

The active system integrates amplification and DSP within the cabinet.

Each driver is powered and controlled independently, allowing precise crossover control, time alignment, and system protection.

Analog and digital inputs allow integration into a wide range of systems.

A passive version is also available for use with external amplification.
